Quantum Dynamics of Ultracold Lithium in Optical Lattices

Control of quantum gases through periodic driving offers a rich platform to engineer novel quantum phases and explore non-equilibrium quantum dynamics. We present recent progress in utilizing Bose-Einstein condensates of lithium trapped in an optical lattice to probe such dynamics, including trapped atom interferometry via Floquet-Bloch band control for high-precision sensing, the quantum Kapitza pendulum in a strongly driven pre-thermal regime, and boundary-modulated quantum gases.
