This poster presents a new experimental platform designed to facilitate quantum logic control of polar molecular ions in a segmented ring ion trap, paving the way for precision measurements exploring T,P-odd effects. Our opproaches focuses on two novel features: (1) precisely controlling target molecular ions by logic atomic ions through motional entanglement mediated by Coulomb force, and (2) designing a novel segmented ring ion trap to circulate the ions in the trap with rotating biased electric field. While the primary focus of this project is on detecting the electron's Electric Dipole Moment (eEDM) using 232 ThF + ions, the proposed methodology holds promise for broader applications, particularly with ion species that exhibit enhanced sensitivity to the nuclear Magnetic Quadruple Moment (nMQM). Experimental progress, numerical simulations, and infrastructure development will be discussed in detail.
