Programmable neutral atom arrays of alkaline earth elements have emerged as powerful testbeds for quantum information science, many-body physics, and precision metrology owing to their rich electronic structure and narrow clock transitions. 171 Yb is an alkaline earth like atom with nuclear spin ½ that provides a qubit with coherence times on the order of ten seconds. It features narrow electronic transitions and a clock transition that have facilitated the demonstration of rapid single qubit gates [1], preparation of low entropy arrays [1], and state-sensitive shelving [2].

In the effort to push the frontiers on the capabilities of this architecture, we report high-fidelity two-qubit gates and tunable interactions using Rydberg states in our platform. In conjunction with mid-circuit operations and local feed-forward [2], we will demonstrate our progress in realizing measurement-enhanced entanglement generation and preparation of the ground states of many-body hamiltonians.
