Cold atoms are a versatile tool that have been extensively utilized for sensing magnetic, electric and gravitational fields. Here a novel sensing platform is proposed that leverages the sensing capabilities of cold atoms to characterize quantum materials. The cryogenic vacuum chamber enables the investigation of quantum materials down to 4K and can enable high magnetic fields to be generated with the use of superconducting coils. Furthermore, ample optical access provides a possibility for creating Bose-Einstein Condensates (BECs) and Rydberg atoms for enhanced sensing. The proposed platform is a promising avenue for rapid quantum material diagnosis with adaptable sensing capabilities.
